County housing market sees fewer buyers, more investors
Data on deed transfers is showing what may be a trend of fewer homebuyers and more investors and renters in Williamson County, which real estate professionals say relates to a favorable seller’s market in Central Texas. Realtors Association President Suzanne Gantner said homebuyers are having difficulty finding affordable homes, which often leads to renting a home instead. “There are several sets of buyers that are searching under the $250,000 (price) mark, and we just can’t find them anything,” she said. “There are not as many homebuyers who have that kind of money.”
