Cedar Park City Council voted unanimously to pick Austin-based RedLeaf Properties LLC as master developer for the Bell Boulevard revitalization project. At the end of it all, the somewhat obsolete U.S. Highway 183 in that area — replaced as a highway years ago by the 183-A toll road — will be transformed from strip centers and old shops into a walkable place that will revolve around people more than cars. Some have called this another “mini-Domain” area.
