For the seventh year in a row, Texas has claimed Site Selection magazine's Governor’s Cup for business and job creation. Texas had 608 new projects in 2018, up from 594 in 2017. To qualify, a project must have a minimum investment of $1 million, and either create 20 or more new jobs or 20,000 square feet of more of new office space.
