The world's largest real estate franchise by agent count
Residential real estate professionals in Austin say they expect the city's housing market to remain resilient, despite any drop-offs due to the coronavirus pandemic. In February, sales of existing homes in Texas notched their eighth month of growth. But home showings across the state have tapered off in the wake of coronavirus concerns and restrictions. I, too, believe our Austin metro real estate market will bounce back rather quickly now that the stay at home order has been lifted.
A local economist gave a great analogy of our local market: We were in the 7th inning of a baseball game, got a storm/lightning warning so had to delay the game, and now we go back and finish it...same players, same score, same field & same fans.
