Round Rock prepares for Cap Metro bus service launch
Seventy-five bus stops, including new signage, curbs and sidewalks, are being installed across Round Rock in preparation for the city’s new Capital Metro bus service set to roll out in August. The city previously offered a demand-response bus service to residents, which operated five buses with residents calling to schedule a time and place to be picked up and dropped off. Now the city will have four fixed routes facilitated by Cap Metro, three of which include at least one stop in Austin. The new service includes three routes.
